Adaptive reuse of a 1920’s era office building encompassing 116,000sf on 18 floors, with 170 rooms, 2,000sf of meeting space, laundry, warming kitchen lobby, and future retail space. Lorenzo Hotel – Dallas Texas
Having sat vacant for years, this 12-story 230 room hotel was totally gutted and rebuilt. Installing new MEP systems in the vintage building required careful coordination and creative design. Responsible for Project Management and Engineer of Record. (Previous Employer)
Marriot AC/Residence Inn, Dallas Texas
Adaptive reuse of a 1950’s era office building encompassing 158,000sf on 22 floors, with a total of 245 rooms, meeting space, laundry, warming kitchen, two lobbies, lobby bar, and future retail space. New MEP systems were provided for the historic downtown high rise. Additionally, a parking structure with hotel amenities and lease space was also included. Responsible for Project Management and Engineer of Record. (Previous Employer)
Liberty Hotel – Cleburne Texas
Reconstruction of an existing wood frame historic structure into a 50 room boutique hotel. MEP systems were designed with the wood frame taken into consideration. All piping used mechanical or chemically welded materials to avoid introducing welding/brazing in the historic structure. Responsible for Project Management and Engineer of Record.
